The use of wood in interior architecture

As we know, the wood industry plays a major role in interior decoration and architecture. A wooden chair has traveled a long way to reach our homes.
Here I am writing a series of brief articles about wood that I hope other friends will benefit from their experiences.

Wood veneers:
1- Artificial (Letron): Melamine, Formica, HPL
2- Natural: plywood, particle board (chipboard), fiber board (MDF, HDF). Cement wood, gypsum wood.

Melamine sheet (Latron): it is a synthetic coating. It is used in furniture making.
The adhesive used is melamine formaldehyde, which is waterproof, anti-scratch and partially fireproof.
Natural veneer (chipboard): We turn the wood into a veneer whose thickness is less than 1 mm, and to produce it, it undergoes a process including the following.
1-raw material 2-peeling 3-shredding 3-drying 4-grading 5-sticking 6-pressing 7-cooling 8-cutting to standard dimensions 9-sanding 10-grading-categorizing
The raw material is actually the trunk of the tree, which has already been cooked in several stages.
MDF: It is important to select the sapwood (tree trunk) in fiber board.

In MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard), we have wood fibers, unlike chipboard, which had wood chips. One of the characteristics of MDFs is homogeneous texture and uniform surface. High mechanical resistance and good cutting ability, as well as high resistance to water.

HDFs are the boards that are used for parquet flooring, and it is the same MDF that has been subjected to more pressure during the pressing stage.
Recognition of wood
inside the wood
out of wood
The interior of the wood is more resistant to destructive factors such as fungi and...
All woods have inner wood and outer wood, some have different color and some don't.
wood cutting
1-Transverse: It makes us see the cross section of the wood
2- Tangential: It is a cut that is tangent to the annual circles, which gives us a very beautiful pattern in decoration.
3-Radial: It is in the form of smooth streaks and perpendicular to the annual circles
Types of trees
